Stakes

A stake is liquidity sitting in a pool so other people have something to trade against. Every swap pays a fee, and the people who supplied that liquidity split it in proportion to what they put in. That is the whole mechanism; everything else is bookkeeping on top of it.

Not live

Orbi Pool has no staking contracts deployed. Until it does, these figures are zero because they are zero — not because a feed is down.

How a stake will work

  1. 1Deposit one sideYou bring one token. The position is built against ETH so you are not forced to hold both halves before you start.
  2. 2Traders pay to swapEvery trade through that pool pays a fee. Your share is your share of the pool, and it accrues whether or not you are watching.
  3. 3Withdraw wheneverNo lockup. What limits you is the pool’s depth on the day you leave, not a countdown set by us.

Providing liquidity is not free money: while the price moves, a position can be worth less than simply holding the two tokens. Fees are the compensation for that risk, not a substitute for it.
